Aftercare Day

The day following the final ceremony of a retreat — dedicated to rest, reflection, integration circle, and gentle re-entry before departure.

Aftercare Day takes place on the final full day of a retreat, immediately following the last ceremony. Rather than another ceremonial session, it is a day set aside for rest and integration — giving participants time to sit with what arose in ceremony, share reflections in an integration circle with fellow participants and the facilitator, and begin carrying the spiritual insight of the retreat into their lives at home.

The pace is intentionally gentle. Guests are supported in returning to ordinary awareness at their own rhythm, with the community and the retreat center's sacred space still holding them, before they depart and re-enter daily life.
