Retreat Center
A dedicated physical setting designed to support multi-day ceremonial and spiritual retreat — providing accommodations, ceremonial space, and supportive environment for the full arc of a retreat.
The Retreat Center is the physical property where an ECC retreat takes place — encompassing the maloca where ceremony is held, guest accommodations, common gathering areas, and the surrounding land. It is chosen and prepared specifically to support the full arc of a retreat, from opening circle through ceremony, aftercare, and departure.
Being removed from the pace and distraction of daily life is part of the retreat center's purpose: guests are given a setting where the ordinary responsibilities of home and work recede, freeing attention for the spiritual work of the retreat.
